Default Trader for green items

I think it would be cool to have a trader in certain areas (say three spread across a continant so they're not so easy to come by?) that will buy green items from you, for a fair price. A rare item trader type thingy. He could go on the current rate of items, which would also make it easier to work out how much an item is worth if you want to sell it yourself. Like a built in price check. I think it will also cut out a lot of spamming in the trade window because people may be more inclined to sell the items they have to the merchant.

Not only that, but if the merchant actually kept a true stock of what he bought/sold, you could get some greens from him that you need. What I mean is, if he's recently bought Dwaynas Grace and you're looking for one, his stock will show 1 item for sale. Once you buy it, the next person will have to wait until he's bought another from a player (or try another of the traders). Also reducing WTBs from the chats etc. Of course it won't stop spamming totally, but it'll be a small effect of what I think the game needs. Why don't we have green traders? The fact the merchant will offer you 25g for an item worth 30K up is a joke.

This would also put a cap on the people who tend to spam that they want way more than knowledgable people are willing to pay, or the people buying for way less....

Compare to buying and selling dyes in pre-searing and post searing.

You could go so far as to do the same with mini-pets, they have as much impact on the game as dye.....I'm torn between possible thread hijacking and posting something uselss so I included it here.

Hijack away! Treat it as a thread about trader additions/changes in game.

Just thought of something else as it happens. Imagine how much space would be freed up in peoples storage. How many of us have green items we can't sell or have no use for sat taking space up? People are always asking for more storage but there's no way I'd be willing to sell a green, no matter how crap to a trader for 25g. So there it sits, taking up room I could do with. Heroes have taken the role of green dumping ground but you can only use so many on those too before you start hording them again. A green trader would ease this.

Well,

combined with an auction house where the green traders take the average prices as their prices, that would really be nice.

It would add a tad or two to the game.
